Approximately one-third of FAULHABER's workforce is taking advantage of the company doctor's vaccination offer. The first employees will be able to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations directly at the company on June 22, 2021. This is another important step in combating the pandemic and protecting employees.

Around 200 employees at the Schönaich site expressed interest in receiving vaccinations directly at the company during an initial survey. This will now be implemented over a total of four to six appointments. "FAULHABER is happy to provide the necessary framework," explains Andreas Melzer from the company's pandemic team. This includes, in addition to coordinating appointments, providing suitable premises so that the company doctor has the necessary conditions for administering the vaccinations.

In cooperation with the Alamannen Pharmacy in Holzgerlingen, a quick and smooth process is to be ensured. At the first appointment on June 22, 66 FAULHABER employees will be able to receive their initial vaccination. "We are pleased that our staff is taking advantage of this offer so actively and that we as a company can make a further contribution to putting the pandemic behind us," said Melzer.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the protection of employees has been FAULHABER's top priority. Protective measures include the implementation of social distancing and hygiene protocols, the permanent provision of surgical and FFP2 masks, the installation of temperature check stations at staff entrances, free testing, and the consistent use of working from home in areas where possible.

The company also plays an important role in combating the pandemic itself with its products: FAULHABER is a system-relevant supplier of drive systems as key components for medical devices from the medical and laboratory technology sector, such as ventilators, infrared cameras for fever control and automated sample analysis or laboratory systems.
