Content
A large number of legal requirements have both a direct and indirect influence on the material composition of products: Material compliance is the recognition and implementation of these requirements and the resulting internally and externally binding requirements. Non-compliance can result in high liability risks and loss of image.
As part of this seminar, participants will be trained in the relevant laws, EU regulations and guidelines. The main content of the seminar is aimed at the material requirements for end products and their implementation. A particular focus is on the REACH regulation, as it sets requirements for both the end product and production. Other regulations covered include RoHS guidelines (global), conflict minerals (USA and EU), POP regulation (Stockholm Convention), California Proposition 65 and substance regulation according to the EU.
