FAULHABER integrates subsidiary PDT

In the year of its 75th anniversary, FAULHABER is continuing to improve customer service. the dr On April 1, 2022, Fritz Faulhaber GmbH will integrate the subsidiary PDT Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH from Nürtingen and thus also welcome 34 new specialists at the Schönaich site. Thanks to this strategically planned step, FAULHABER can react more quickly to individual customer requests with its own turning center and expands its expertise in the field of metal-cutting production.

PDT has been a subsidiary of FAULHABER since 2014 and has been producing turned parts for the drive systems of the renowned specialist in miniature and micro drive technology ever since. "The integration is part of our growth strategy in order to further expand our own ability to deliver and increase the added value for our customers," explains Karl Faulhaber, Managing Director at FAULHABER. "We now have our own high-performance turning center in-house," says Faulhaber happily. "In this way, we can implement customer-specific adaptations more quickly and more diversely, shorten delivery times for our customers and optimally complement the synchronization of our production sites."

The relocation of the CNC machinery to Schönaich has already been completed. The new specialists are happy to be part of the renowned FAULHABER company and work in three shifts at the new location. "We are happy about our new colleagues and wish them a good start in Schönaich," says Faulhaber. "In this way, we are also expanding our competencies in this area and our customers also benefit from this - with an even broader range of individual complete drive solutions."
